“Blockchain Technology: New Opportunities and Applications in Financial, Legal and Security Systems” Roundtable Discussion

On November 29, 2018, a round table “Blockchain Technology: New Opportunities and Applications in Financial, Legal and Security Systems” was held on the occasion of the publication and promotion of the book “Virtual Crypts and Blockchain Protocol” by Samir Nuhbegović at the University of Sarajevo.

Welcome address was delivered by Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, University of Sarajevo Rector. Keynote speaker was Prof. Dr. Elvir Čizmić, Vice-Rector for Finances, while Prof. Dr. Izudin Kešetović, retired professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tuzla, also a reviewer, spoke about the book.
Samir Nuhbegović, MSc in Management, author of the book “Virtual Crypts and Blockchain Protocol” delivered a lecture on the topic "Blockchain Technology: New Opportunities and Applications in Financial, Legal and Security Systems", followed by a Q&A session.

The book “Virtual Crypts and Blockchain Protocol” has emerged as a need to give readers an insight into the new trends that have emerged in the monetary and financial field, and increasingly have impacts on economic flows as well as on social processes. The basis for the book was the master work from 2015 titled "Virtual Bitcoin - Analysis and Global Implications", which has been significantly expanded.
