The French Universities Fair was held
Every year France receives 300,000 foreign students and is ranked third in the world by number of foreign students. With a network of 3,500 higher education institutions, France offers a wide range of studies in all areas and at all levels, equal rights for foreign and domestic students, French language and culture, the ability to study in French and English and above all high quality education.
In order to present the full range of study programs in France, the various enrollment procedures and various funding opportunities, including French government grants, the French embassies and Campus France in Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized the French Universities Fair for the fifth time on 7 November 2018. It was held at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo.
During the Fair, a public competition for scholarships from the French Government for Academic 2019/2020 was also opened at which students from all BH universities can apply.

On the French Embassy in BiH initiative, on 7 November 2018, the 6th French-Bosnia and Herzegovina Scientific Committee was held at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo.
Organizing of this Committee aims to strengthen university cooperation between the two countries. In this way, they wanted to further strengthen bilateral cooperation within the Erasmus+ program and through cooperation with the University's Francofonie Agency. On behalf of the University of Sarajevo, the Scientific Committee was attended by Prof. Sanja Burić, Vice-Rector for Arts, Culture and Sports.
