The Veterinary Faculty of the University of Sarajevo and the Chinese Research Institute of Veterinary Medicine signed an agreement
The signing of the Agreement on International Cooperation between the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Sarajevo and the Research Institute of Veterinary Medicine in Lanzhou, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences was held in the University of Sarajevo Rectorate on 7 December 7, 2018.
The agreement signed by Prof. Dr. Nihad Fejzić, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Dean, and Hong Yin, General Director of the Research Institute of Veterinary Medicine in Lanzhou, envisage cooperation that will include promotion and support of the exchange of knowledge and expertise, projects of common interest in the field of disease control of food contamination and food safety, staff exchange and researchers , development of joint educational and research activities, participation in scientific meetings, workshops with joint research results, and support for international trade in animals and their products.
Dean Fejzić emphasized the significance of this agreement, stressing that it was an agreement on veterinary scientific cooperation between the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Sarajevo and the largest veterinary research institute in China
The signing of the agreement was attended by representatives of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China together with the ambassador Chen Bo, Director of the Food Safety Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Džemil Hajrić, UNSA Vice-Rectors: Prof. Dr. Elvir Čizmić, Prof. Dr. Dženana Husremović and Prof. Dr. Aida Hodžić, representatives of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine representatives, delegation of the Research Institute of Veterinary Science in Lanzhou, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
