UNSA Language Institute: Online Conference on the Bosnian Language

An organization that brings together children and youth within the Islamic Community of Bosniaks in Sweden - BEMUF in cooperation with the Institute of Language of the University of Sarajevo, on 8 December 2021 organized an online conference on the Bosnian language. The lecturers were: Dr. Sc. Alen Kalajdžija: History of the Bosnian Language; Mr. Sc. Aida Kršo: Contemporary language in practice; writer Hadžem Hajdarević: Bosnian literature. In the introductory part, Muhidin Čolić, coordinator of the project dealing with support for the mother tongue in the diaspora, gave a brief overview of the Institute's activities in this area, and together with Izet Bešić, BEMUF Secretary, worked on organizing the conference. There was an opportunity for conversation as well as questions from the participants.
