Scientific Conference "Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina within Thirty Years of Peace Implementation"

On the occasion of March 1st, commemorating the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the University of Sarajevo—Faculty of Criminal Justice, Criminology, and Security Studies, in collaboration with the Department of Social Sciences and the Department of Humanities at the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized the scientific conference titled "Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina within Thirty Years of Peace Implementation." This event took place on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, commencing at 10:00 in the Faculty of Criminal Justice, Criminology, and Security Studies.
The conference gathered esteemed figures from academia and the broader social community, featuring distinguished speakers including Professor Dr. Lada Sadiković, who also served as the moderator, alongside Academician Mirko Pejanović, Corresponding Member of the ANU BiH Mile Babić, Professor Dr. Edina Bećirević, Corresponding Member of the ANU BiH Husnija Kamberović, Professor Dr. Goran Kovačević, Professor Dr. Edita Hasković, Professor Dr. Ivo Komšić, Strajo Krsmanović, Jakob Finci, Monsignor Franjo Topić, among numerous other participants and guests. The opening addresses were delivered by the Rector of the University of Sarajevo, Professor Dr. Tarik Zaimović, and the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Jasmin Ahić.
