Professor Đani Šehu held a concert as part of the 15th Vojvodina Guitar Fest
As part of the 15th Vojvodina Guitar Fest (Novi Sad/Serbia), Prof. MSc. Đani Šehu - Head of the Department of String Instruments and Guitar of the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo. According to the critique of the interpretation, it is affirmatively characterized:
"The concert program highlighted the Sarajevo soloist Đani Šehu, who offered the employees unusual musical content - namely, Šehu is alternately musically eight-stringed guitar and on a standard six-stringed instrument. The eight-string guitar in the hands of this virtuoso showed its advantages and extremely wide, noble thin range when performing the baroque Sonata No. 9 by Roman Zamboni, as the context of the modern guitar repertoire, in Šehu's interpretation of the famous Five Preludes for guitar by Eitor Vila Lobos, which were given here layered and richly nuanced sound shaping. When performing Isaac Albeniz's classic 'Granada' and 'Cadiz', the guitarist played the standard instrument, showing the benefits of these compositions interwoven with the flexible melodies and explosive rhythms of Iberian music - all in all, Đani Šehu's performance was a truly impressive musical event.”
