International Conference: Constitutionalism and Post-Conflict Society (April 28, 2025)

At the University of Sarajevo, on April 28, 2025, will be held an international conference which aims to provide insights into understanding how constitutional changes can promote coexistence and reconstruction of the social fabric, crucial for establishing solid foundations for sustainable peace after conflict or the experience of an authoritarian regime. An adequate and inclusive constitution can improve governance and promote trust in political institutions. The conference also aims to provide insights into designing institutional structures that promote inclusion, participation, and equitable representation by presenting various case studies, preventing social and political tensions.
The conference is organized by the University of Sarajevo - Faculty of Law, Faculty of Law of the University of Barcelona, in cooperation with members of the research project "Constitutions for Peace: The Role of Constitutional Changes in Promoting Coexistence and Social Reconstruction in Societies in Transition", funded by the International Catalan Institute for Peace (ICIP).
