Awards on the occasion of marking the Day of the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo
On the occasion of the Day of the Academy of Performing Arts of the University of Sarajevo (29 December 1981), annual awards for the best students from all departments and the award “Dr Razija Lagumdžija” are given for the most successful pedagogical, artistic and scientific work.
The most successful ASU students in the 2019/2020:
Department of Production and Management in the Field of Performing Arts: Mia Avdagić
Department of Acting: Simonida Mandić
Directing Department: Isidora Ratković
Department of Dramaturgy: Armin Behrem
The Award “Dr. Razija Lagumdžija” for the most successful pedagogical, artistic and scientific work, in 2019/2020 is awarded to Alma Ferović Fazlić, assistant in the subject Voice, at the Department of Acting. She has been actively dedicated to pedagogical work for thirteen years, through a nine-year collaborative engagement at the Music Academy in Sarajevo (2008-2017), after which she joined the ASU team in 2018. She graduated from the Academy of Music in Sarajevo and then received her master's degree in Music Theater from the Royal Academy of Music in London, which this year also awarded her an honorary award for artistic and pedagogical work (ARAM), making her an associate. Combining many years of professional artistic experience and numerous international educations, her pedagogical work is characterized by innovations, through new exercises and approaches, which continuously contribute to the improvement of the teaching process and program of the subject Voice.
