The solemn celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, takes place in the Holiday Hotel Wednesday, 28 February 2018 at 19:00.

The Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology by organizing this solemn event ends its celebration of its 30 anniversary. The solemn academy will be an opportunity to present the successful work of the Institute and the most important activities in the past, and with the presentation of the film about the Institute work, awards will be given to individuals and institutions that have made an outstanding and lasting contribution to the development and affirmation of the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.

Scientific activity in the field of plant, animal and human molecular genetics rank INGEB into recognizable institutions of the Western Balkans. This is evidenced by numerous scientific recognitions, participation in the realization of research of significance for science and technology in BiH. The applicative value of the long-standing scientific efforts of the valuable collective of the Institute is also reflected in the direct application of original technological solutions developed within the framework of these researches in domestic and international collaborative projects.
