Within the project “Transition of Students with Disabilities from Higher Education to the Labor Market in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro” (Trans2Work) two University of Sarajevo students: Amela Bojić and Suljo Keranović participated in the exchange and shared their experiences with us.

The aim of the project is to improve the quality and relevance of the transition process from schooling to employment of highly educated students with disabilities in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Amela Bojić is a full UNSA second year student at the UNSA Faculty of Philosophy Sociology Department and a UNSA Student Support Office member.
“The project gave me great motivation to engage in activities like this, where I have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to work in the social field, which will serve me in further professional orientation. The country I have chosen is Montenegro, with the desire to acquaint her people, culture and customs” says Amela Bojić, who spent first days of internship in the Disabled Youth Association of Montenegro where she worked on the Independent Living Disability Program.

During his student exchange in Novi Sad, Suljo Keranović did expert practice in the Citizens' Association “Centar - Živjeti uspravno” which is the immediate provider of personal assistance in Novi Sad with activities in the entire Vojvodina.
“As personal assistance still does not exist in legislation, and is very rarely practiced in BiH, it was something new as I encountered and something very important to me as a future social worker” said Suljo Keranović.
