Second LNSS Pilot Training Held

Library Network Support Services (LNSS): Modernising libraries in Western Balkan countries through staff development and reforming library services
The second pilot LNSS training was held at the University of Sarajevo on 6 February 2018, within the project Library Network Support Services: Modernizing Libraries in Western Balkan Countries through Staff Development and Reforming Library Services (LNSS).
Prof. Dr. Maida Čohodar-Husić, the Vice-Rector for Quality, University of Sarajevo, addressed the participants of the training and expressed satisfaction with the numerous and different activities held at the University of Sarajevo and within the LNSS project. Prof. Dr. Angela Repanovici (Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania) and Dr. Manolis Koukourakis (University of Crete, Greece), LNSS project partners from EU countries also addressed attendees.
Doz. Dr. Lejla Hajdarpašić, ERASMUS+ project coordinator for the University of Sarajevo, introduced to the participants goals of the second pilot LNSS training, followed by the training conducted by members of the LNSS project team with UNSA:
- mr. Sc. Nadina Grebović Lendo (Use of Social Software in School Libraries, Module 5)
- mr. Sc. Mirela Rožajac Zulčić (Web School Presentation, Module 6)
- Saša Madacki, PhD candidate (Sensitive Groups and Customer Care, Module 7) and
- mr. Sc. Irena Pejić, Ph.D. (Guidelines for Fundraising in School Libraries, Module 8).
The training was attended by 65 school librarians and library librarians.
