UNSA’S LNSS Team Members Educational Training Visit in Brasov, Romania, 15-19 October 2017
The training visit from University of Sarajevo in the ERASMUS + project: Library Network Support Services (LNSS): Modernizing libraries in Western Balkan countries through staff development and reforming library services (CBHE 561987) was held in Brasov, Romania from 15 to 19 October 2017. The training was organized by Transylvania University of Brasov (Romania). Representatives of LNSS University of Sarajevo Team were Nadina Grebović-Lendo, Head of Library of The Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo and Irena Pejić, Head of The Library of Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Sarajevo.
During the training representatives attended Summit of the book and training sessions for Module 3: Essential management and transferable skills for librarians and library staff, Module 4: Information Literacy and Research Skills, Module 5: Innovative online library services for 21st Century Librarians and Module 6: The Electronic Library.
The aim of this training mobility was to enable updating of knowledge regarding LNSS modules.
The following results were achieved:
- Detailed and updated knowledge of key information literacy and Electronic Library components: Evaluating information, Avoiding Plagiarism.
- Comparison and sharing of IL teaching techniques applied.
- Updating of IL training content and knowledge of IL in Romania libraries by public library visit.
