Minister of Science, Higher Education and Youth of KS and University of Sarajevo Rector visited the Faculties of Law, Economics and Political Sciences

Minister of Science, Higher Education and Youth KS Prof. Dr. Melika Husić-Mehmedović and University of Sarajevo Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, together with Prof. Dr. Jasmin Ahić, President of the Council of the of Social Sciences Group, continued visits to the organizational units of the University of Sarajevo on Tuesday, 2 February 2021, and visited the Faculties of Law, Economics and Political Sciences.

The visits are a continuation of previously held and planned tours of organizational units of the University of Sarajevo in order to see the priorities and problems that need to be addressed in synergy between the University and the Ministry, all with the aim of continuous development of the University of Sarajevo.

Drafting of the new Law on Higher Education of KS, reviewing the current situation, recording possible difficulties in work, and improving cooperation, as well as the implementation of the teaching process, theoretical and practical classes, space capacities and modernization of equipment were just some of the topics of conversation.

During the visit, the heads of all three organizational units presented to Minister Husić-Mehmedović the key activities and results of the work, and especially emphasized the achievements in international cooperation, especially emphasizing the work on international research and development projects. Also, the infrastructural capacities were presented, as well as the circumstances in which online classes are conducted.
