Trieste Film Festival: Special Mention for “Tako da ne ostane živa“ and two awards for “Otac”
As part of the 32nd Trieste Film Festival (TFF), the film by part time Prof. Faruk Lončarević “Tako da ne ostane živa” (So She Doesn't Stay Alive) won the Special Award, while Srđan Golubović's Bosnian co-production “Otac” (Father) won the Audience Award and the Central European Initiative Award.
The film “Tako da ne ostane živa” (So She Doesn't Stay Alive) had its world premiere on 23 January at TFF, and the roles in the film are also played by ASU alumni: Aida Bukva, Dino Sarija, Enes Kozličić, Aleksandar Seksan, Mehmed Porča, Ivana Vojinović, Dzenita Imamović Omerović , Mirela Lambić, Dina Mušanović, Nadina Mičić, Saša Krmpotić and Bakir Silajdžić. Direction and screenplay for the film was done by Faruk Lončarević, costume design by Lejla Graho, sound design by Mirza Tahirović, director of photography is Alen Alilović, and the editors of the film are Redžinald Šimek and Faruk Lončarević. The film was produced by Faruk Lončarević and Rusmir Efendić.
The film “Otac” (Father) premiered in the Panorama program of last year's Berlinale, where it won the Ecumenical Jury Award and the Audience Award, after which it had a rich festival life and won numerous awards. It was made in a co-production of Serbia, France, Germany, Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and BH the film’s producers are part time Prof. Amra Bakšić Čamo and Adis Đapo in front of the production company SCCA /pro.ba. TFF was held in an online format from 21 to 30 January and 29 feature films, 19 documentaries and 16 short films, and 25 films in accompanying programs were shown.
