Visit of Federal Ministry of Health representatives to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

On 04/09/2020, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Sarajevo Dean, Prof. Dr. Muhamed Smajlović and Vice Dean for Finance, Prof. Dr. Jasmin Omeragić and the head of the Laboratory for Molecular Genetic and Forensic Research, Prof. Dr. Teufik Goletić hosted representatives of the Federal Ministry of Health, Mr. Goran Čerkez, Assistant Minister of Public Health and Mrs. Snježana Bodnaruk, Secretary of the Ministry.

With words of gratitude for the cooperation, support and recognition of the potential of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Dean Smajlović presented Mr. Goran Čerkez and Mrs. Snježana Bodnaruk with monographs and silver badges of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Sarajevo.

The meeting discussed common current topics for both institutions - cooperation, the importance of veterinary science in many crisis situations, coronavirus, testing, isolation of coronavirus at the Veterinary Institute, as well as the hope that both institutions will continue to promote the concept of unified health. health) as an important principle in further preserving the health and welfare of humans and animals.

After the meeting, the guests and the dean visited the premises of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and stayed at the Anatomical Museum, which is unique in BiH.
