A panel discussion held at the Faculty of Administration on topic “Supporting sustainable building of public-private partnerships in BiH”
On 6 February 2020, at the Faculty of Administration, a panel discussion was held on the topic: “Support to building sustainable public private partnership capacity in BiH”.
As part of the introductory address and welcome address, participants were introduced to the goals of the panel, as well as the basic activities and goals of cooperation between the Faculty of Administration and the Association Institute for Public Policy Promotion in BiH in the process of supporting the modernization of public administration and the development of its capacities, areas of cooperation and partnership with Office for Reforming Public Administration (PARCO)in the process of strengthening administrative capacity. Office Coordinator, Doz. Dr. Dragan Ćuzulan also referred to the past reform activities in the area of public finance reform, with a particular focus on the PPP project implemented through the support of the Public Administration Reform Fund, as well as its main goals and results.
Past experience in the development of prerequisites for the implementation of PPP models, the main risks and obstacles in the planning, preparation and execution of PPP projects is pointed out. Practical experience indicates that the existence of an adequate and improved legal framework for PPPs is a basic prerequisite for an increased number of PPP projects.
