Ibn Arebi Summer School held at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences

At the UNSA Faculty of Islamic Sciences, from 26 to 30 August 2019 the Ibn Arebi Summer School was held. The lecturers were renowned world scholars in the field of Sufi science and Akbaric studies: Prof. Pablo Beneito (University of Murcia, Spain), Prof. Stephen Hirtenstein (London Institute for Ismailite Studies, UK), Prof. Caner Dagli (University of Worcester, USA), Pablo Urizzi (Director of the Perennia Verba Association), and Dr. Federico Salvaggio, who spoke about the linguistic aspects of Ibn Arebi's teaching.
By delivering an important speech on the importance of Akbar studies today, Prof. Dr. Enes Karić participated.
At the event were also present the Italian Ambassador H. E. Nicola Minasi and Reisu-l-ulema, Husein ef. Kavazović.
Twenty-eight students from the following countries attended the summer school: Algeria, Austria, Belgium, Colombia, France, Italy, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Peru, Russia, Serbia, Switzerland, Syria, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
