5th International Tourism and Hospitality Management Congress (ITHMC)

The 5th International Congress on Tourism and Hospitality Management (ITHMC) is being held in Sarajevo from 2-6 October 2019. The event is organized by the Department of Geography, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Sarajevo, Akdeniz University and Mugla Sitki Kocman University, Republic of Turkey, with organizational and technical support from the Zenit Group.
University of Sarajevo Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj in his address at the opening ceremony, expressed satisfaction that the successful cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and Akdeniz University and Sitki Kocman University was continued. Rector Škrijelj also emphasized the importance of this congress, especially considering that one of the strategic guidelines for the BH development is the development of tourism and the tourism industry. “The Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics recognized the importance of the tourism industry, and accordingly the Department of Geography established a course in tourism and environmental protection in 2005/2006 academic year” Rector Škrijelj reminded.
The Congress is organized to bring together leading academic scholars and researchers with the aim of sharing their experience and research results, ideas and applications on all aspects of the science of tourism and hospitality.
Tourism science is also a basic and applicable science, and industry, hotel industry, travel agencies and government representatives are expected to attend the conference.
ITHMC 2019 includes different topics and subtopics so that it will be interesting for different students in different fields of science and economics.
