“Presentation of Russian Universities in Sarajevo” event at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo

Within preparation for the event “Presentation of Russian Universities in Sarajevo” scheduled for October 2019, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bosnia and Herzegovina Third Secretary, Lilia Sabirova, visited the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Philosophy, on 5 September 2019. On this occasion, a working meeting was held during which were discussed the Faculty of Philosophy’s possibilities and capacities as the event’s central venue and the involvement of other University of Sarajevo’s organizational units in the implementation of this significant event.

Otherwise, the event “Presentation of Russian Universities in Sarajevo” aims at popularizing Russian professional education and inviting the education of compatriots and foreign nationals from abroad to the Russian Federation, as well as connecting teaching and scientific staff of the same and related fields in order to expand and share knowledge and experiences.  The decision to make the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Sarajevo the central venue of this event was made by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in BiH on the basis of traditionally good relations with the Faculty of Philosophy and due to the importance of the area studied at the Faculty.
