Academician Prof. Dr. Dejan Milošević “Georg Forster Research Award” Received

Academician Dr. Dejan Milošević, a full professor at the Department of Physics, UNSA Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Sarajevo received the Georg Forster Research Award at the Alexander von Humboldt Annual Meeting at the Charlottenburg Palace in Berlin on 27 June 2019.

The prize was handed to him by the president of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Prof. Dr. Hans-Christian Pape and State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development Dr. Maria Flachsbarth.

The German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel held an introductory speech, and the subsequent reception was held in the park of the Bellevue Palace by the President of Germany Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

The Georg Forster Research Award is being honored by researchers from developing and transition countries who have gained international recognition for their research work in addressing development-related issues.
