The Open Doors Day at the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences held

On 26 March 2019, the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences in Sarajevo organized a Faculty promotion under the slogan “Be a student of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences for a Day” The Vice-Dean for Teaching, Prof. Dr. Lutvija Karić addressed future students and a team of young associates for scientific research led by Doz. Mirza Uzunović, who also presented the Faculty, study programs, enrollment methods and other information that could be useful to future students.

The Faculty’s Student Association has organized “first-hand” information that was exchanged between the teachers and associates of the future, and impressed the students with a high level of responsiveness.

The high school students had the chance to see the possibilities offered by the Faculty, in particular by the technical equipment used in the practical part of the lesson. The most interesting part of the future students was the work in the laboratories where they had the opportunity not only to get acquainted with, but also to do some of the practical tasks from microbiology, chemistry, cheese and finished food technology, nutrition, plantation, vegetable growing, fruit growing,

With the promotion plan, future students have briefly visited some classroom lectures and met the vertical system in urban agriculture.
