An EU Law Days Event: “European Commission Questionnaire: Selected Legal Aspects” Round Table at Faculty of Law
On 4 December 2018, within the EU Law Days event, a roundtable discussion “European Commission Questionnaire: Selected Legal Aspects” was organized at the UNSA Faculty of Law. The roundtable discussion dealt with the topic “Questionnaire of the EU Commission – selected legal aspects”. The EU Law Days are being organized by public law schools, which are members to the South East European Law School Network (SEELS Network). The goal of this event is to promote the study and research of EU law, create an open forum for a structured debate on EU law and promote and present the content of the SEE Law Journal. This journal is being published as one of the activities of SEELS and its development and maintenance are currently being co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
The round table speakers were:
- Darija Ramljak (Assistant Director of the Directorate for European Integration) who presented on: “Questionnaire of the European Commission - BiH quo vadis”,
- Katarina Peroš (Chief of Division for European Integrations and Strategic Planning at High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH), who presented on: “Chapter 23 of the Questionnaire – Judiciary”,
- Prof. Dr. Meliha Povlakić (Faculty of Law in Sarajevo), who presented on: “What does the European Commission Wants to Know Regarding Efficient Consumer Protection?”
- Ass. Prof. Dr. Nedžma Džananović Miraščija (Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo), who presented on: “Political and Administrative Aspects of the Accession to the European Union”,
- Ass. Prof Dr. Damir Banović (Faculty of Law in Sarajevo), who presented on: “Legal and Political Context of the Process of European Integration: the Case of Bosnia and Herzegovina and
- Prof. Dr. Hajrija Sijerčić-Čolić (Faculty of Law in Sarajevo), who presented on: “Questionnaire of the European Commission - Aspects Regarding Criminal Procedure.”
