“Research Projects Beyond the Academic Framework: Cooperation with Industry and Improving Business Skills” Workshop Held
The workshop “Research Projects Beyond the Academic Framework: Cooperation with Industry and Improving Business Skills” was held at the University of Sarajevo - Center for Interdisciplinary Studies "Prof. Dr. Zdravko Grebo" from 20 to 21 November 2024.
The workshop was implemented within the framework of the implementation of the Horizon Europe project “ANSWERS THROUGH POLICIES - Support for the Creation of Research and Innovation Policies, Implementation and Support in the Western Balkans,” in which the University of Sarajevo participates together with 14 other partners. The aim of the workshop is to strengthen the capacities of relevant institutions and actors in the field of research and development, in accordance with identified needs, strategic documents and, above all, in accordance with the priorities defined by the Agenda for the Advancement of the Western Balkan Countries in the Field of Science and Innovation.
The workshop was aimed at researchers, scientists and innovators at the University of Sarajevo, with the aim of improving their business skills needed for effective collaboration with industry. During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to explore ways in which they can present their projects outside the research framework and direct them towards industrial partners. The focus of the workshop was also on market segmentation and the implementation of the Social Selling strategy.
The lecturers at the workshop were Prof. Dr. Melika Husić-Mehmedović, University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Economics, and Prof. Dr. Selma Kadić-Maglajlić, Copenhagen Business School.
