The UNSA Faculty of Forestry Marks its 70th Anniversary

In the past 70 years of continuous work, the University of Sarajevo Faculty of Forestry educated generations of engineers, master's and doctors of science from the field of Forestry and Horticulture who devoted care of breeding, farming, efficient exploitation and protection of forests as the most important BH resource.

The Faculty of Forestry this year marks its 70 anniversary. This significant jubilee of one of the oldest higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Faculty will celebrate with mark a series of events. Thus, from 10 to 12 October this year in Sarajevo will be held the international symposium Man - Forest – Science - PEFOSS, which will gather more than 200 participants and the lecturers at the symposium will be some of the world's leading experts from the field forestry and horticulture.

The 70th anniversary will be marked by numerous other activities, which will have its culmination at the end of the year at the ceremony of marking the 70th Anniversary of the Faculty of Forestry in Sarajevo.
