Bosnian movie “Quo Vadis, Aida?” shortlisted for Best International Film at the 93rd Academy Awards
Organizers of the 93rd Academy Awards of the American Film Academy have announced a shortlist for nominations for the best international film, among which, as expected, is Bosnian film “Quo Vadis, Aida?” by BH director and alumni of the Academy of Performing Arts, University of Sarajevo Jasmila Žbanić.
Of the 93 eligible films for this category, “Quo Vadis, Aida?” is one of fifteen shortlisted films. The roles in the film were performed by numerous alumni of the UNSA Academy of Performing Arts: Prof. Ermin Bravo, Izudin Bajrović, Emina Muftić, Merima Lepić, Ermin Sijamija, Boris Ler, Dino Bajrović, Jasenko Pašić, Alban Ukaj, Sanela Bistrivoda Krsmanović, Jelena Kordić Kuret, Kemal Rizvanović, Slaven Vidak, Saša Krmpotić, Adi Hrustemović, Nusmir Muharemović, Rijad Gvozden and Sanin Milavić, and the creative team of the film also includes Almir Đikoli.
This year’s 93rd Academy Awards will be held on April 25 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
