National Library Awareness Day in BiH: The library is my colorful world
Awards given to first and second grade primary school students as a result of the art competition "My Librarian"
The award ceremony for first and second grade students of primary schools as a result of the art competition "My Librarian" was held on 30 October 2020 in the University of Sarajevo Rectorate.
This event sends a message to the public expressed in the words of one of the winners of this art competition “The library is my colorful world.”
On the occasion of the National Library Awareness Day 2020, the Action Group of the National Library Awareness Day at the University of Sarajevo organized an art competition “My Librarian” to which a total of 260 works were received.
Commission for the selection of art works: Sadžida Bjelak (FFUNSA Library), Doz. Dr. Haris Dervišević (Department of Art History), MSC. Emina Kešan Tolomanoski (FFUNSA Library) and Vahid Piralić (FFUNSA Library) selected 30 works for the online exhibition, and then 3 best. The authors of the awarded works are: Vedad Hondo (Second Primary School, Hrasnica), Harun Hadžić (Primary School Behaudin Selimanović, Sarajevo) and Ali Dupovac (Primary School “6 mart” Hadžići).
The awards were presented to students Vedad Honda, Harun Hadžić and Alija Dupovac by Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, University of Sarajevo Rector, and M.Sc. sc. Nadina Grebović-Lendo, coordinator of the Action Group of the National Day of Library Awareness in BiH in front of the University of Sarajevo. On this occasion, gift packages of books for primary school libraries attended by awarded students were handed over.
