The Music Academy has a gold and bronze medal from the 69th World Accordion Trophy

Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo students Azmir Halilović, Danijel Lovrić and Asmir Hamzić in the class of Prof. Belma Šarančić Nahodović participated in the 69th World Accordion Trophy held in Loule, Portugal from 3 to 10 November 2019.
By competing as the Inat Trio in the Senior chamber classique category with chamber ensembles from Russia, Ukraine, China, Poland and Croatia, the students won third place and a trophy. Azmir Halilović won the Accordion Singer category and the trophy. They were evaluated by a fifteen-member jury of world-renowned educators and performers.
The Music Academy in Sarajevo had its delegate to the competition for the first time. Professor Belma Šarančić Nahodović represented Bosnia and Herzegovina as a jury member in the prestigious Senior Trophy category, Senior cassique.
