University of Sarajevo Partners with IFRS Foundation on Sustainability Education

The University of Sarajevo is proud to announce the signing of an agreement with the IFRS Foundation, becoming an Authorized FSA Credential Education Provider — one of only six worldwide open to global participants and the only one in the Western Balkans.

This milestone was highlighted during the IFRS Sustainability Symposium 2025 held in London, where global leaders discussed the adoption of the ISSB Standards (IFRS S1 and S2) — now recognized as the global baseline for sustainability disclosures, adopted in nearly 40 jurisdictions representing over 60% of global GDP.

As an approved provider, the University of Sarajevo will deliver accredited preparation programs for the IFRS FSA® Credential — the world’s leading qualification in sustainability-related financial disclosure and analysis — empowering professionals to advance their expertise in ESG, finance, and sustainability reporting.
