Planting trees in front of the UNSA Rectorate building marked the Faculty of Forestry’s 70th Anniversary

On the occasion of marking the UNSA Faculty of Forestry’s 70th Anniversary, on 5 December 2018, six trees were planted in front of the UNSA Rectorate and Faculty of Law building, two of them are crimson hogs (Crataegus oxyacantha L.cv.) - "Rubra plen", which will decorate the entrance with its violet-red flowers. The trees were planted by Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, University of Sarajevo Rector, Prof. Dr. Mirza Dautbašić, Faculty of Forestry Dean and academician Dr. Vladimir Beus, professor emeritus and former Faculty of Forestry Dean.
This event is one of many activities which the Faculty of Forestry, as one of the oldest higher education institutions in BiH organizes to celebrate its 70th Anniversary.
