A new book from Faculty of Catholic Theology "Život, ljudi i običaji u Bibliji"

At the end of 2019, a book by Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Catholic Theology, University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Darko Tomašević Život, ljudi i običaji u Bibliji was published.

The book presents the life and customs of Biblical people. The excerpts are given from the accounts of the daily lives of people who lived thousands of years before us, to whom God revealed in His providence and chose to be His people. The book brings new and interesting details from the lives of Bible people to encourage readers to flip through the Scriptures themselves and get to know Bible people and customs better. The author's desire, as he points out in the introduction to the book, is to increase the love for the revealed Word of God to readers as they learn about the Bible, its people, lives and customs. The book Life, People, and Customs in the Bible, as it stands out in the introduction, “is not a comprehensive study of all the customs and everything associated with the lives of Bible people. It is only the beginning - the desire to bring the Biblical man's life a little closer to today's people.”

The book was published by the Faculty of Theology Catholic in Sarajevo, in the series “Radovi” ", as the twenty-ninth book of this series. The co-publisher is Glas Koncila from Zagreb.
