Climbing the Olympic mountains Bjelašnica, Igman, Jahorina and Trebević

The traditional climbing to the Olympic mountains Bjelašnica, Igman, Jahorina and Trebević was organized on 21 December 2019 by the International Center for Peace with Mountaineering Societies and the University of Sarajevo on the occasion of celebrating the University's 70th Anniversary. The tour was organized under the auspices of the State Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO.
The President of the International Center for Peace, Mr. Ibrahim Spahić, stated that the symbolic climbing to the Olympic Mountains successfully accomplished the mapping of points of peace and freedom, marking the symbols of the Sarajevo winter with the Snowflake and the announcement of the XXXVI SWF 2020 and the Sarajevo Olympics2021.
Mountaineers from the companies Energoinvest, Glasinac, Konjuh, Novo mesto, UNSA Faculty of Sports and Physical Education students and professors, members of the International Peace Center and the Organization 2000 Rescuers Sarajevo were participants.
