First International Conference on Administration and Social Sciences
The first International Conference on Administration in the Social Sciences ICAMMS'19 was organized by the Faculty of Administration in Sarajevo on 13 September 2019. The Conference lasted for two days, Friday and Saturday (13 and 14 September), and the opening ceremony was held in the Swissotel Hotel Congress Hall in Sarajevo.
This international conference on administration and social sciences gathered together a large number of experts and academicians from the region and beyond, specifically 100 participants from 14 countries including the United Kingdom, Croatia, Serbia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Poland, Austria, Macedonia , Montenegro, Russia, Slovenia, Germany, BiH and Palestine.
The introductory theme and motto of this year's conference is “European Union Issues and Challenges“ in the public administration context. The panel moderator was Adnan Rondić, and participants: Prof. Dr. Vedad Silajdžić, professor, Faculty of Economics, University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Iqbal, University of Kent professor and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Faruk Aysan, Turkish University Sehir Istanbul professor.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by many BiH officials from all levels of government, as well as prominent public, political and academic community figures and those whose work is closely related to the conference.
Let's also say that a partner of this year's conference was Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), German development agency providing services in the area of international development cooperation.
