Book Presentation: "The Medical Significance of Hyperthermia in Legal Medicine" by Dr. med. sci. Emine Dervišević, published by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science
Federal Minister of Education and Science, Professor Dr. Jasna Duraković, attended the book presentation on Tuesday, 23 April 2024, of the book " The Medical Significance of Hyperthermia in Legal Medicine ", published by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science.
This presentation, held in the Ceremonial Hall of the University of Sarajevo Rectorate, represents a significant step in promoting scientific knowledge and research supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science.
The author of the book is Dr. Med. Sci. Emina Dervišević, a member of the Department of Legal Medicine at the UNSA Faculty of Medicine, whose research and this book on the medical significance of hyperthermia in legal medicine will undoubtedly contribute to the development of medical expertise and provide valuable insights into the field of forensic medicine.
Minister Duraković emphasized the importance of the book and its contribution to education and science, as well as to the academic and scientific community, enabling the exchange of ideas and encouraging further collaboration in forensic medicine and related fields.
Attendees also had the opportunity to hear presentations from Professor Dr. Edina Lazović, a member of the Department of Pathology at the Medical Faculty of the University of Sarajevo, and Professor Dr. Muhamed Katić from the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Sarajevo, a member of the Department of Pathological Physiology.
The Federal Ministry of Education and Science supports such publications and initiatives that contribute to the dissemination of knowledge and improvement of expertise. Within its publishing activity in the field of science, which is realized through the edition "Izdanja Federalnog ministarstva obrazovanja i nauke/znanosti", 23 monographs, 13 collections of papers, and 13 co-publishing projects have been published so far.
