INGEB UNSA | Beginning of the practical realization of the project “Modelling of adjusted microbiological fertilizers”
With the installation of a Handheld Photosynthesis System (CID BioScience - CI-340) and training in handling, the University of Sarajevo - Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology symbolically marks the beginning of the practical realization of the project “Modelling of adjusted microbiological fertilizers”, which is realized in partnership with Plant d.o.o. from Tuzla.
The project is implemented within the framework of the European Union Support for Agricultural Competitiveness and Rural Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina (EU4AGRI) program, with the United Nations Development Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Czech Development Agency (CzDA) as implementing partners.
The program is aimed at strengthening the agricultural practices through better cooperation with scientific and research organizations. The aim of this project is to incorporate the latest scientific achievements, knowledge, and technologies into practice through the development of specialized microbiological fertilizers as an alternative to mineral fertilizers. Through the planned activities of beneficiary and advisory events, the aim is to introduce the concept of microbiological fertilizers to primary producers, foster collaboration and mutual trust between the scientific research institution and primary producers and enhance the performance of agricultural farms by improving the ecological characteristics of production.
