The Centar Municipality donated a vehicle for emergency veterinary interventions to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

Centar Municipality Mayor, Dr. Nedžad Ajnadžić, together with the UNSA Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Dean, Prof. Dr. Muhamed Smajlović signed a contract for the lease of a Toyota Proace motor vehicle 19 November 2020. With words of gratitude to the Centar Municipality and Mayor Ajnadžić, Dean Smajlović expressed his gratitude for the vehicle stating that the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine will be able to form an emergency veterinary service to help pets, which is one of the requirements for EAEVE (European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education) accreditation of the curriculum.
“This vehicle will mean a lot for the improvement of practical classes for students, which will be a mandatory part of the emergency intervention team. Such services, which we will be able to provide to citizens, after equipping vehicles with instruments for emergency veterinary care, make a difference between “ordinary” cities and metropolises. I want to take this opportunity to thank the former dean Prof. Dr. Nihad Fejzić, who was the initiator of the idea for the purchase of vehicles and Prof. Dr. Velija Katica who helped in the realization“ added Dean Smajlović.
