The traditional hike to the Olympic Mountains Bjelašnica, Igman, Jahorina and Trebević begins on 21 December 2019 at 8:00 from the Skenderija.
The organizer is the International Center for Peace with Mountaineering Societies and the University of Sarajevo on the occasion of the University's anniversary.
The hike was organized under the auspices of the State Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO.
We invite you to participate in the Hike in accordance with your social role.
Hikers climb the summit of the Olympic Mountains and map points of peace and freedom. All organizations and societies can raise their flags to the top of the Olympic Mountains.
All interested participants should equip themselves to the standards of the mountain endeavor. Participants have the opportunity to use private transport, and the organizer provided and arranged transport by bus to Igman and Bjelašnica, Trebević and Jahorina with a capacity of up to fifty seats.
Transportation to the first starting destination for the Hike is from 8.30 and return from the Olympic Mountains at 13:00 pm.
Transportation is organized by the International Peace Center from Skenderija Bus Station.
