The 3rd Third International Conference on English Language, Literature, Teaching and Translation Studies - CELLTTS
From 28 to 29 September 2018, the UNSA Faculty of Philosophy hosts the Third International Conference on English Language, Literature, Teaching and Translation Studies - CELLTTS. This event is organized by the English Language and Literature Department.
CELLTTS is an international conference on English language, literature, English language teaching and translation at the University of Sarajevo. Given the fact that English is present in everyday communication, it is necessary to continually keep the pace with latest trends and developments. The English Language Department at the Faculty of Philosophy will for the third time organize a congress in which 80 university lecturers and associates, researchers, translators, lecturers and authors from 20 countries are planned to participate. The theme of the conference “Living, Reading, Teaching and Translating in a World Dominated by Wartime Culture and War Cultures” announces interesting and challenging considerations of highly actually topics dealing with various aspects of life and work in times of different conflicts in the world and general insecurity.
This year, plenary lecturers are distinguished professors: Dr David Michael Pesetsky of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, Dr. Timothy Petete of the College of Liberal Arts, University of Central Oklahoma, USA and Dr. Paul Lowe of London College of Communication, University of the Arts, VB.
