Business Ideas Incubator Promoted at the Faculty of Economics
At the UNSA Faculty of Economics, the Entrepreneurship Support Program with the support of the University of Sarajevo, Sarajevo Canton and the Sarajevo Economic Institute has been launched.
The project involves the participation of interested students from University of Sarajevo Faculties and young people are registered in the unemployed register. The entrepreneurship activities support involving education and mentoring process, for the first time is organized at the University of Sarajevo.
The program is implemented with the partnership of Sarajevo Canton, the University of Sarajevo, the Economic Institute of Sarajevo and the Youth Employment Project (YEP), and with the support of the Swiss Government. This event aims to provide participants with support in strengthening personal entrepreneurial qualities, developing a model and business plan for their enterprise, implementation, and mentoring in the registration and business development.
The University of Sarajevo is one of key partners in the Entrepreneurship Support Program. On this occasion UNSA Vice-Rector for Finances, Prof. Dr. Elvir Čizmić said: “Entrepreneurship should not be a key economic concept, but the entrepreneurial spirit must be present much wider, thus building sustainable business models”.
Business projects that receive the best evaluation by the expert commission will be offered a support package that includes investment funds for starting a business and mentoring support in the areas in which identification identifies the need for it.
