Professor Jonathan Brown of Georgtown University gave a lecture at the UNSA School of Islamic Sciences

On 16 December 2021, in the amphitheater of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, University of Sarajevo, a lecture was given by Jonathan Brown, Professor of Islamic Sciences at Georgetown University and Director of the Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Dialogue. Jonathan Brown's narrower area of interest is hadith. Brown spoke on the topic of „Racism and Islam,“ and the focus of his lecture was on the socio-historical background of racism and verses and hadiths that are related to this topic. After the lecture, the attendees asked questions and Dean, Prof. Dr. Zuhdija Hasanović presented a gift to the lecturer.
