Public lecture by dr. Suzana Konjevoda on “The role of the Mediterranean diet in senile macular degeneration” will be held on 9 March 2020 at 13:00 at the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences, University of Sarajevo, Amphitheater A2 (Tika).

Dr.sc. Susan Konjevoda is associate professor, specialist in ophthalmology who completed her medical degree, specialization and postgraduate studies in ophthalmology in Zagreb. She defended her doctoral dissertation in 2005 with the topic “Useful value of directed oriented perimetry in the diagnosis of patients with ischemic optic nerve damage” and thus earned the title of doctor of medical sciences in the field of biomedicine and health.
In 2017, she was elected to the rank of Senior Research Fellow in the field of biomedicine and health, clinical medical science, branch of ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb, and in the same year to teaching title of associate professor.
