Agreement on Academic Cooperation signed between the University of Sarajevo and “Sv. Kliment Ohridski” University
The official signing of an Agreement on Academic Cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and the “Sv. Kliment Ohridski“ University of Bitola was held in the UNSA Rectorate on Thursday, on 7 February 2019.
The Agreement signed by Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, University of Sarajevo Rector, and Prof. Dr. Sašo Korunovski, “Sv. Kliment Ohridski“ University of Bitola Rector was entered into with the aim of promoting academic, educational and cultural cooperation between the two institutions. Within the agreement’s framework, institutional cooperation will be developed and envisaged through networking and mutual exchange of teachers, researchers, students and other staff for lectures, visits and exchange of experiences; joint participation and registration for funds intended for educational, research and artistic activities; joint activities in the field of education, training and/or research; joint organization of conferences, symposia, congresses, seminars, courses, summer schools and workshops; exchange of professional literature, textbooks and other university publications; and other activities of common interest.
The signatories expressed great satisfaction with the cooperation establishment that will rather useful and open new opportunities for both universities.
With the presentation of the “Sv. Kliment Ohridski “University of Bitola, the possibilities for further development of academic cooperation were considered during the meeting, while Prof. Dr. Nedžad Korajlić, Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies Dean presented the experiences of many years of successful cooperation with the Faculty of Security in Skopje, a member of the “Sv. Kliment Ohridski University of Bitola.
