Erasmus+ Info Training Session at the University of Sarajevo
On the occasion of a new call for proposals within the Erasmus+ program, an info training session was held with the purpose of preparing new project proposals, with emphasis on changes in relation to previous calls, as well as new priorities in the University of Sarajevo Rectorate, on 22 November 2017.
The session was opened by Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Nikolić, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation. The lecturer was Mr. Suad Muhibić, National Erasmus+ BH Office Director.
Mr. Muhibić, among other things, presented some of the activities at which the University of Sarajevo can apply: International Credit Mobility (as a partner), Erasmus Mundus joint Master Studies (as a partner), Capacity Building in Higher Education (as Coordinator and / or Partner) and Jean Monnet (as a coordinator and/or partner). In addition to the standard application rules, Mr. Muhibić introduced the novelties that mostly relate to budget changes and the number of project partners.
At the session it was emphasized that during the first Erasmus+ competition (2016), 14 University of Sarajevo member institutions initiated participation in 22 capacity building projects (5 coordinators), out of which 9 projects were approved, one coordinated, and subsequently 3 more projects from sport and strategic partnership. During the last Erasmus+ call for project proposals (2017), the University of Sarajevo applied with 37 project proposals out of which 4 as a coordinator and 33 as a partner. Participation in 3 projects was approved, 1 as a coordinator and in 2 as a partner.
