I am pleased to inform you that the review - publication entitled "Prospects of renewable energy potentials and development in Bosnia and Herzegovina – A review" was published in the prestigious scientific journal "Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews" by authors: Farooq Sher, Narcisa Smječanin, Harun Hrnjić, Emir Bakunić and Jasmina Sulejmanović as a result of the interuniversity cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and the Nottingham Trent University (Contract No. 0/01/-4783/22):

On this occasion, I would like to highlight the multiple importance of this work, considering that it is a pioneering research in this field for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which provides an overview of the current and future plans of our country in terms of renewable energy sources.
This publication showed that Bosnia and Herzegovina, compared to other Balkan countries, has a significant potential for the implementation of renewable energy sources and meeting our country's energy needs.
I am really proud because our valuable students Harun Hrnjić and Emir Bakunić, who are among the few who engage in scientific and research work, were also involved in the mentioned work, and in this way they further improve their academic skills. Thanks to my dear colleague dr. Narcisa Smječanin for her significant contribution, as well as prof. dr. FarooqSher who recognized the need for such research presenting our country in the best light in this regard globally.
I have no doubt that this article will benefit all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to move towards a renewable and sustainable future.
