The UNSA Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Delegation visited the University of Mälardalen and KTH Royal Institute of Technology
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo delegation: Prof. Dr. Haris Lulić, Dean, Prof. Dr. Amra Hasečić, Vice Dean for Research, Doz. Dr. Mirza Pašić, Vice Dean for International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Maida Čohodar Husić and Prof. Dr. Muris Torlak, visited Mälardalen University, Västeras, Sweden.
The hosts at the Mälardalen University were Prof. Dr. Damir Isović, Dean, Prof. Dr. Rada Dobrin, Head of the Department for International Cooperation, and Siniša Bosančić, coordinator for international cooperation.
During the visit, a number of meetings were held on which each of the Parties presented its academic activities, international cooperation, scientific research activities, as well as cooperation with the economy. The meetings discussed the strengthening of cooperation between these two institutions. Special emphasis is placed on the mobility of students and teaching staff, and on cooperation within international and scientific research projects. These meetings have enabled both sides to consider common topics and identify potential future initiatives.
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering delegation also visited the laboratory on both campus Mälardalen University, in the cities of Västeras and Eskilstun, as well as the Mälardal Industry Technology Center (MITC).
In addition, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering delegation visited the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. A meeting was held with Victor Kordas, a higher advisor for international projects of the Office for International Relations. The possibility of cooperation was considered in the form of the mobility of students and teaching staff, and in the form of joint work on international and scientific research projects. The KTH Royal Institute of Technology showed interest in cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
