The University of Sarajevo Student Support Office implemented the “Sign Language School - Advanced Level” Final Activity

Taking into regard that the University of Sarajevo is committed to creating an inspiring, inclusive and attractive environment for learning, teaching, research and artistic work for male and female students, researchers, teaching and non-teaching staff and other actors, the implementation of the School of Sign Language - advanced level is supported.

The Sign Language School - Advanced Level was organized in the Rectorate by the UNSA Student Support Office from December 2023 to March 2024. The participants were male and female students and teaching and non-teaching staff of the University of Sarajevo. The head of the school was Mrs. Jasminka Proho, a sign language interpreter, employed by the Association of the Deaf Cantons of Sarajevo.

The final activity of the Sign Language School - advanced level was realized on Monday, 30 September 2024 at the Sarajevo Youth Theater. This event is another way for the University of Sarajevo to demonstrate its commitment to creating equal conditions for access and active participation in higher education.

We would like to thank all the participants of the final activity of the School of Sign Language - advanced level, the audience that supported the actors of the event, as well as the management and employees of the Sarajevo Youth Theater.
