University of Sarajevo in peace building: EUPeace Inter-University Alliance
The University of Sarajevo continues the long tradition of inter-university cooperation for the development of the culture of dialogue and promoting peace - part of the EUPEACE alliance that aims to promote peace, justice and inclusive society.
The Alliance consists of the University of Marburg (Germany), University of Giessen (Germany), University of Germany, University of Bridge (BiH), Calabria University (Italy), Limoges University (France), West Bohemia University (Czech Republic).
Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Enita Nakaš attended the first two-day meeting of the Alliance held in Limoges (France) 21 and 22/08/2023 (more about the meeting: https://www.eupeace.eu/en/current/news/eupeace-steering-committee-and-governing-board-members-meet-in-limoges).
The conditions of peace, justice and inclusions are fragile and controversial. EUpeace Alliance strategically decided to deal with these challenges proactive. We will develop programs, summer schools, and other experiences in teaching and learning, regardless of the course of study, will be trained to nurture differences, and understand the roots of conflict situations, with developed competencies to effectively manage such situations and find the best peaceful solutions because only so society can go through prosperity.
