University of Sarajevo at the 35th International Book Fair and Education | Rich Program Prepared
The University of Sarajevo is one of the exhibitors at the 35th International Book Fair, which will take place from 17 to 22 April on three locations. The fair's theme this year is “Translation and the Language of Writers” and “Familiarization with the Cultural Heritage of Countries around the World.”
At the university's stand, Faculties, Academies, and Institutes will showcase their developed publishing activities, including scientific production. There will be promotional language and culture classes for elementary school students, high school students, and librarians. The planned language promotions include Slovenian, English, Spanish, Latin, German, Polish, Chinese, Greek, and Czech. The language and culture classes will be taught by professors from the Faculty of Philosophy and the Confucius Institute of the University of Sarajevo.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to see exhibitions by scientific institutes from the University of Sarajevo.
In the Grand Salon and Bosnian House, 12 book promotions will be held, featuring publications from the Institute for History, Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture and Food Science, Faculty of Management, and Academy of Performing Arts.
The central event is an educational program for nursery school teachers titled "Pedagogy of Integrated Creativity: From Nursery to University," which will be led by professors from the Faculty of Philosophy, Dr. Amir Pušina and Dr. Dženeta Camović, on 18 April in the Grand Salon.
