Swedish Royal Academy and Svenskt visarkiv published a book by Prof. Dr. Jasmina Talam "Bosnians in Sweden - Music and Identity"
Dr. Jasmina Talam, Professor of Ethnomusicology at the Sarajevo Academy of Music in May 2018 received a postdoctoral fellowship in Folklore Studies awarded to her by King Charles XVI. Gustav at a ceremony held at the Bernadotte Library in Stockholm Castle. She completed her postdoctoral research from August 2018 to February 2019 in Svenskt visarkiv on 13 February 2019 at the Royal Academy of Swedish Folklore Culture in Uppsala. The results of the successful postdoctoral research “Bosnian Refugees in Music-Making and Cultural Organizational Activities in Sweden” are presented in the book Bosnians in Sweden - Music and Identity published by the Swedish Royal Academy and Svenskt visarkiv. This valuable work by Prof. Dr. Jasmina Talam is also the first work by a Bosnian author published by the Royal Swedish Academy.
