Solemn Certificate Award Ceremony for Participants of the TRAIN Program at the University of Sarajevo

In the premises of the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of the University of Sarajevo – Prof. Dr. Zdravko Grebo (CIS), on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, a ceremonial awarding of certificates took place for the participants of the second cycle of the Lifelong Learning Program in the field of pedagogical education and strengthening the competencies of academic staff at the University of Sarajevo (TRAIN) for the academic year 2024/2025. Thirteen participants of this Program received certificates. The program is intended for academic staff of the University of Sarajevo in collaborative/teaching positions and is aligned with European standards in higher education. It enables acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies in areas such as teaching, research, and communication skills. The certificates were presented by Prof. Dr. Dženana Husremović, Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Sandra Bjelan, Academic Coordinator of the TRAIN program.

On this occasion, Vice-Rector Husremović emphasized the importance of continuous professional development for teaching and non-teaching staff, and congratulated the participants on becoming part of the TRAIN family — a community that remains as a lasting platform for the future, enabling them to establish quality cooperation and open new opportunities.
