Signed Agreements on Doctoral Mobility within the EUPeace Alliance

The Rector of the University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Tarik Zaimović, ceremoniously signed the EUPeace Doctoral Mobility Agreement, formalizing the new doctoral mobilities of the University of Sarajevo, a member of the EUPeace Alliance (European University for Peace, Justice, and Inclusive Societies).
A total of 31 applications were received in response to the public call, and Philipps-Universität Marburg accepted four doctoral candidates from the University of Sarajevo: Anida Ibricić, Merisa Kurtanović, Mustafa Mujkić, and Antonijo Topalović. Their mobilities will be implemented during 2025 and 2026. Two candidates have already begun their mobilities at partner institutions.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Kemal Durić, Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Academic Coordinator of the EUPeace Alliance at the University of Sarajevo, and Prof. Dr. Ehlimana Spahić, Head of UNSA’s Implementation Team for Work Package 6 (WP6) “Research Hubs and Doctoral Studies.”
By signing this agreement, the University of Sarajevo further strengthens its international cooperation and provides doctoral students access to top-tier research environments within the EUPeace network.
